These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of services provided by The Sound Works Recording Studios Limited ("Sound Works", "we", "us", or "our"). By booking a session or using our services, you agree to these Terms.
All bookings are subject to availability. A booking is not confirmed until you receive written confirmation (email) from us and the required deposit has been received.
We accept the following payment methods:
All prices displayed on our website and materials are in British Pounds (GBP) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, though confirmed bookings will be honoured at the quoted price.
Sessions may be rescheduled free of charge with at least 48 hours notice, subject to availability. Rescheduling requests with less than 48 hours notice will be treated as cancellations.
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your session, we will offer you an alternative date or a full refund. We are not liable for any additional costs you may incur as a result of cancellation.
Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled session time. Late arrivals will result in reduced session time as we cannot encroach on subsequent bookings.
All studio equipment must be treated with care. Clients are responsible for any damage caused to equipment through misuse or negligence. Repair or replacement costs will be charged accordingly.
We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal items brought into the studio.
You retain full ownership of all original music, lyrics, and creative content you bring to or create during your session.
Session files (Pro Tools, Logic, etc.) are stored for 90 days following your session. After this period, files may be deleted. We recommend you take copies of all session files on the day of recording. Extended storage can be arranged for an additional fee.
With your permission, we may use excerpts of your recordings, photographs from sessions, and your artist name for promotional purposes including our website, social media, and marketing materials.
Our standard mixing and mastering services include up to 2 rounds of revisions. Additional revisions will be charged at our hourly rate.

Rush services are available at an additional cost.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
While we take reasonable precautions to protect session data, we are not liable for data loss due to equipment failure, power outages, or other unforeseen circumstances. We strongly recommend clients maintain their own backups.
Clients must follow all health and safety instructions given by studio staff. We reserve the right to terminate any session where safety is compromised.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services will be governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. We encourage clients to contact us directly to resolve any issues before pursuing legal action.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
